Going their seperate ways
Or walking away as friends:
The struggles of Jacob and Esau began in the womb which brought their relationship to the brink of violence. Upon a night Jacob wrestles with an adversary and resolves to end this conflict. The next day after being seperated for 22 years, the brothers meet and instead of fighting, they embrace and part as friends.
If we can wrestle with ourselves, we need not fight as enemies. Conflict, internalized, can be resolved. – Rabbi Johnathan Sacks
Amen! Peace is the best expression of love!
And Amen. Exactly.
