Our Anniversary

January 23, 2022

Tenants in that toxic ungracious harshness,
against the tumultuous course of our young lives,

arguing and struggling with something bigger than us,

love came to us brusquely,
we casted our stones in a lake, from the riverbanks, we dropped them into the ocean, circles they formed came to rest at the edges of the seas

there in the colourfully woven exotic world of ours
we shared our happiness, clique stones in a lake, tossed them in river clubs we formed, without a shoreline,

we gathered and we gathered

creeping and crawling
love always came to us brusquely

without establishment
we drafted a married couple’s list –
the slopes were steep and cope we did,
still, so oft we found tranquil ponds within this slopey territory…

For some it sounded cliché,
the wafting aroma of apple strűdel every Sunday,
filtered through our marriage

Love came brusquely
and suddenly

a stone was cast and splintered our tranquility.

  2. Happy anniversary! 💚💙

  3. Marriage as its up’s, and its down’s… a byproduct of growth… even an occasional movement to the side…. but if Anniversaries are celebrated, then the ship is still afloat… now all the occupants need do, is watch out for “stone(s) …cast (with the malignant intent on) splinter(ing) …tranquility.”

    • Yes absolutely, it’s one of the most rocky havens we can encounter in our lives…
Thank you for sharing your insights…we have to remain wonderfully alert, to keep the ship afloat.

Thank you and have a wonderful day.

      • Sorry about the power. Must be a bit frustrating. But a few hours isn’t that bad. Welcome and have a great day to.

      • No for me personally it is not a problem. We’ve had 14hrs just the other day. For those who work i need network perhaps yes becos when the power is out the towers are down. Strange but it’s like that.
At the moment they trying to get the substation going without its tripping.
        Thank you kinge, I am🙂

      • 14 hours is a long stretch. Yes, because the towers need electricity to. Must be frustrating to the working population around. That would be good, the substation not tripping 🙂

      • Yes, but we pulled through. We have big problems with maintenance but they will get it right. I’m patient. But actually the towers should be operating despite the power cut.
Tripping, 🙂 it’s going to be fine kinge🙂

      • Okay. Glad to hear its going to be fine 🙂

      • Yes, very fine.🙂
